Mental health services for adults

Keusote’s mental health services are designed to provide help, support, advice and targeted interventions in cases of mild or moderate mental health issues and in times of personal crisis. We offer counselling to help you to deal with whatever is going on in your life and support you in facing the issues that are causing your mental health problems and in finding strength within yourself. Our counsellors are trained to find solutions to problems that may seem insurmountable to you and to help you to change direction.

Our mental health services primarily consist of guided self-help programmes, group counselling and internet-delivered therapies. A wide range of self-help programmes and information about internet-delivered therapies can be found at MentalHub.fi. We run support groups to help with depression and anxiety through acceptance and commitment therapy. If these do not work, you can be referred to a psychiatric nurse.

You can meet with your therapist face to face or remotely. Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, our preference at the moment is for remote consultations. If you need medication or sick leave, we can refer you to see a general practitioner at your local health centre. Our team also includes a consulting psychiatrist who can advise us on your treatment if necessary.
