Exposure to hydrochloric acid fumes may cause immediate health effects. Adverse effects are usually caused by prolonged exposure. Exposure of the eyes: Rinse the eyes with lots of water for at least 15 minutes. If you are using contact lenses, remove them.
Exposure of the skin: Wash the skin with water and soap.
